While Thus Spake You won't make it a habit of reviewing and recommending particular products or brands....

One easy and fun journaling service that doesn't seem to be getting its due is OhLife. OhLife is simple: it sends you a daily email asking you how your day was, and you reply back with your journal entry for the day. OhLife collects your daily musings into an online journal, making keeping up on a journal as easy and painless as possible.

To quote the site: "OhLife is private, secure, & friendlier than Ned Flanders."

There are other cool features too... go to http://ohlife.com if you are interested.

Just another option for your philosophical writing! Great for those of us who live in their email accounts.

So far, the site has been a work in progress. Soon (hopefully), it will be up and available for viewing. Soon we'll be looking looking into venues for getting the word out. After all, the goal of this site is to start something of a movement... a move toward a personalized philosophical writing on and off the web... and community is key in the project. If you have any ideas for further social networking efforts, contact us.

Don't forget to subscribe to the Twitter feed, and to the RSS updates (if that is your cup-of-tea)!

"... let's actually use Twitter for something useful. Let's display Tweets (140 character postings on Twitter, for those of you who don't know what a "Tweet" is) on the homepage to give everyone a taste of the philosophizing being done every day on the new social web."

While we are careful not to represent any particular philosophy, we think the "lite" philosophy from the new Twitter stream will give everyone a good mix of ideas to stimulate conversation, and should be relatively harmless.
